My take

I personally purchased and use this automatic litter box with my cats. I like it and recommend it — for people who want less scooping and will still show up for the rest of the job.

What actually improved

Convenience. Automatic cleaning reduces how much routine scooping I have to do, which is the entire reason an automatic box earns its footprint in the first place.
